Volunteers

In order to offer safe, affordable, and supportive housing to young families, SHYM relies on community support. There are many ways to get involved and support our work. If you have an interest in working with us and would like to volunteer your skills or talents, please Contact Us
Here are some ideas:

• Assist with building maintenance (painting, small repairs, plumbing, electrical, yard work)
• Help with special events
• Join our fundraising committee in making follow up phone calls to potential members of SHYM’s Seeds of Change Club
• Participate on Board committees or apply to become a member of the Board:
• The board is looking for skilled volunteers in the areas of fund development/fundraising, human resources and communications.
• Volunteer with one of SHYM’s programs
