Join our Seeds of Change Club

We would like to invite you to become a monthly donor to support SHYM! Everybody has monthly bills and SHYM is no exception. A regular monthly donation allows SHYM to plan how your money can support vital, ongoing programs at SHYM. By donating on a monthly basis, you can give a small amount each month, but added up it makes a big difference!

It’s easy to become a monthly donor and join our Seeds of Change Club in support of the SHYM! Your contribution can be made by VISA or MasterCard each month (through Canada Helps, www.canadahelps.org). Or you may send post dated cheques to the address below. You will receive one receipt for your total annual donation.

Make a One-Time Donation

SHYM accepts one-time financial or in-kind donations. You may donate via Canada Helps (see the link above) or by simply sending a cheque or money order, made payable to:

Other ways to support SHYM:

SHYM would be delighted to help you help us! Contact us to pick up a package of posters and other materials if you wish to host a unique fundraiser, for example:

  1. Organize a workplace fundraiser for SHYM, such as a casual day or a 50/50 draw.
  2. Use your baby shower or birthday celebration to support SHYM. Invite your guests to make a donation that will help a young Mom rather than, or in addition to, giving a gift.
  3. Turn your yard sale into a fundraising event for SHYM by donating the proceeds.

 

Even more ways to support SHYM:

  1. Consider cashing in award points to donate to SHYM in the form of gift cards from grocery stores, drug stores or department stores.
  2. Become a Friend of SHYM on Facebook, or follow our Tweets on Twitter @4shym
  3. Call or email Charmaine Harris to have your name added to our mailing list or to request more information about SHYM. You’ll receive information about upcoming events and all the latest updates on SHYM and the young families who live here.

 
SHYM is a registered Canadian charity. You will receive a tax receipt for any donation to SHYM. SHYM will not share or sell your contact information. We will add you to our list of supporters and send you information about SHYM and its activities from time to time.
