Welcome to SHYM. We are a supportive housing program for young mothers.

Our philosophy is about respect and care and being able to provide a helping hand to young mothers. We all know how hard it is to raise children, especially as a single parent.

SHYM is dedicated to helping you out - providing affordable housing (individual apartments), exciting and informative programs, supportive and caring staff, and overall a warm, safe and mentoring environment for you and your child/children.

Our vision is about building a healthy, supportive and safe community.

If you are a single mom, have a child/children or expecting, are between the ages of 16 and 21, feel you can live in a cooperative housing environment, and think you are ready to live in an independent way, then please call us at 465-2212 and we can set up a meeting to get to know you.
